Action by Hannah Dilday

Action!

A corpse came out to play, unknowing.

Today he plays the part of a man,

he doesn't need shoes where he's going.

Studying his lines, coffee in tow

didn't think he might misunderstand.

A corpse came out to play, unknowing.

The role of a lifetime, don't blow it

but he didn't read how this script ends—

he doesn't need shoes where he's going.

Dead man walking a bit too stoic

thought this might be his big break, his chance.

A corpse came out to play, unknowing.

Arrived to set, a cemetery

director shouts there's a change of plan!

He doesn't need shoes where he's going.

Didn't realize one grave was his own

this scene—his funeral, roll camera

A corpse came out to play, unknowing

he doesn't need shoes where he's going.
